Introduction

Press Locked Mild Steel Bar Grating is manufactured by inserting pre-punched bearing flat bars and cross bars into an interlocking configuration through hydraulic pressure and welding together permanently.

METART provides a full custom-made service with a great variety of thicknesses, depths, and hole pitch options.

This press-locking design offers a great number of heavy-duty bar grating options for areas that need greater safety for both pedestrians and vehicles.

Optional Finishes:

-Mill Finish （ No Coating)

-Hot-Dip Galvanizing

We produce press-locked steel gratings with both-way flat bars or mixed with serrated bars to meet different anti-slip requirements.

Here are the 4 surface options.

Besides the above-mentioned optional surfaces, Metart also produces press-locked grating with different insertion angles and types including:

-Common Locked type ( Both of the bearing bars and cross bars are notched and of the same height.)

-Integral Locked type (Both of the bars are pre-notched, but the bearing bars are higher than the cross bars)

-Heavy-duty steel grating (Bearing bars are higher than the cross bars but both of them are of a big gauge.)

-Louver steel grating type (The bearing flat bars are pre-notched at an angle of 45° or 30°, the cross flat bars are then inserted before being pressed)

An ADA-compliant anti-slip perforated safety grating plate or checker plate can be welded to the grating upon your request.
