GET A QUOTEPerforated metal traction tread safety grating is a small dimpled perforated metal plank that is designed to meet ADA compliance.
ADA compliance refers to the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design.
Unlike the serrated grip strut and perf O designs, these small punched-up buttons design offers good traction and grip and the wheelchair can drive past easily.
The traction tread design can be made into planks, stair treads, and slip-resistant plates.
As this safety grating design is with a very small opening, the hot-rolled carbon steel and hot dip galvanizing service is not recommended.
The most popular material is marine grade 5052 aluminum alloy, as it is light-weighted and has great strength and workability.
Meantime, this material is of excellent outdoor performance especially suitable for coastal cities.
And you can also choose a lower version that is made of grade 3003 aluminum alloy, which also has a good corrosion resistance property.
The pre-galvanized steel traction tread is recommended only for indoor environments, as the edges of the holes are easy to get rusty during use.
If you want to choose this pre-galvanized perforated material as an option, it is better to paint it before installation.
The stainless steel traction tread grated is only suitable for smaller sizes of stair treads. It is difficult to level after being punched.
Customers are allowed to customize bigger-hole-diameter products and modify other specifications.
