GET A QUOTEMetal Coil Drapery is basically a kind of architectural metal curtains, which is also known as metallic curtains, coiled wire mesh curtains, cascade coil drapery, light weighted chain link curtains, fabricoil curtains, or coil fabrics.
Coiled drapery is normally made by grade 5000 series aluminum alloy wires or stainless steel wires including stainless steel 304, 316, or 316L. These stainless steel wires or aluminium alloy wires are pre-crimped via specially designed dies and tooling. Then wires will be woven together and end sealed to form a final mesh drapery. And then the mesh curtains will be ultrasonically cleaned for degreasing before painting. Finally, the coiled drapery will be painted to the appointed color according to samples or order requirements.
Aluminum coiled drapery is a very popular material as its light weighted and higher corrosion-resistant property so that almost 90% of our architectural metallic curtains are made of aluminium wires. In order to give the best performance of the material, Metart adopts only grade 5000 series aluminum alloy wires, normally grade 5154, which is also a marine grade aluminum alloy, with extremely high performance in coastal cities.
Besides aluminum, other material like stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze can be customized according to customers’ requirements.
