Introduction

The espresso puck screen is also known as the coffee portafilter screen, portafilter lower shower screen, or coffee extraction screen.

This filter screen is basically a cut-out circular wire mesh screen disc made of premium stainless steel sintered wire mesh by laser cutting or punching.

Unlike the disposal filter papers, this mesh screen is made of quality marine-grade stainless steel 316 or food-grade 304 stainless steel diffusion wire mesh.

This is a sintered multi-layer wire mesh that will even out the water flow and provide high-precision filtration with slow-motion and smooth extraction.

The screen mesh is very tough and rigid. Its reusable design and easy-to-rinse property make the screen even more popular for coffee brewing.
