Q: Can I choose 201-grade stainless steel as the raw material?

A: Yes, you can. But please don't use it for exterior decoration projects. It is only suitable for interior decoration and you should have it plated with a protective layer including PVD plating, or copper plating.

Q: If I choose SS201 wires as the raw material, will it be cheaper than SS304?

A: It depends on the quantity of the order. If it is a regular project or a big project, the cost of ss201 is definitely cheaper than ss304.

    If it is just a small order, we don't recommend SS201. As we don't stock this grade of stainless steel. It doesn't make a difference for a relatively smaller job. We will regularly keep stainless steel 304 wires in stock for a quicker production arrangement.

For bigger projects, please consider both the cost and quality at the same time. Stainless steel 304 decor wire Mesh performs way better than stainless steel 201 one in corrosion resistance.  If you insist to use ss201 as a cost-effective option for some interior architectural projects, we can also arrange production for you.

Q: Is antique copper plated finish the only available finish for this woven wire design?

A: No, it is not the only option. You can also choose other finishes, including brass plated finish, antique brass plated finish, Gold PVD plated finish, Rose Gold PVD plated Finish, Black PVD plated finish or a cheaper option by regular painting.

Q: What is the lead time for a regular order? Just say 20 square meters.

A: The production time is about 3-5 days based on the current production situation for a mill-finished product.

    If you need extra regular painting, it will take extra 3-5 days.

    If you choose copper or brass plating, or PVD gold plating, it will take extra 10 days, as there is a transportation time from our factory to the PVD  plating factory, back and forth.  As the high-quality copper plating factories and PVD plating factories are mainly based in southern China. Our factory is based in Northern China. In order to have a high-quality finish, we will have all the plating jobs transported to south China and then deliver them back.
