CP Titanium Grade 2 wire mesh is also known as TA2 wire mesh, TiGr 2 wire mesh, UNS R50400 wire mesh, or Unalloyed CP Titanium wire mesh.
Ta2 wire mesh has moderate strength. This type of titanium wire mesh has excellent cold-forming characteristics, welding properties, and resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Grade 2 titanium wire mesh is often used for architectural, automotive, medical, marine, chemical, and hydrocarbon processing, and power generation applications.
Features of Titanium Ta2 Woven Wire Mesh
Industrial Application: Ta2 CP2 is one of the most durable metals in its purest form.
Heat Resistance: Ta2 normally has a higher heat resistance than other metals. So, the alloy can withstand a temperature but only up to 800°F without any problem.
Corrosion Resistance: TA2 wire mesh is highly resistant to corrosion. It can even be corrosion-free if used in seawater.
No Oxidization: As there is minimal corrosion taking place, it is free from oxidization under normal conditions.
