METART-WW58 is a heavy-duty, crimped stainless steel wire mesh commonly used in architectural and building applications where design and metal elements are essential.

This decorative mesh is crafted from wires with a nominal diameter of 3mm in both directions, with an actual measurement of approximately 2.95mm.

Its large openings of 16x45mm offer a balance between security and cost-effectiveness, making it an ideal choice for various architectural projects.

 

Selecting the Right Material Grade for Architectural Mesh

 

Choosing the appropriate stainless steel grade is critical for any architectural mesh project.

Balancing budget constraints with environmental performance is essential, especially in challenging conditions such as polluted areas, coastal cities, or tropical regions. Corrosion resistance is the top priority for all architectural applications.

SS304: This is our standard material for interior architectural applications. It offers good corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for most indoor uses. If budget is a concern, 201 stainless steel with an appropriate finish can also be considered as a cost-effective alternative.

SS316 or 316L: For outdoor applications like building facades or railing infills, SS316 or 316L is preferred due to its high corrosion resistance, especially in environments exposed to saltwater or other corrosive elements.
