Introduction

This is a plain weaved stainless steel wire mesh made of 0.8mm 304-grade stainless steel wires in both vertical and horizontal ways.

0.8mm stainless steel wires are security grade wires that are of a strong enough tensile strength equal to around 700MPA.

This wire is woven into a metal fabric at a density of 5 by 5 in both weft and warp directions, meaning it will have 5 apertures in both directions of the woven fabric.

With this relatively lower weaving mesh count, this stainless steel fabric is still highly flexible and suitable for glass infill fabric.

But, with these specifications, the laminated glass will be empowered with great security.

Even if the glass was hit by accident, it won't fall apart completely, as it is well glued and protected by this security-grade stainless steel infill wire mesh.

Basically, it is a glass insert for security purposes.
